Memorial Day Weekend 2011 and Lora's Wedding (June 4th, 2011)

One of Mia's favorite things is going to the park... Now. She had never been too big of a swing fan.

What is going on!

Ummm... people, I am just hanging here!

Guess this isn't too bad...

I actually think that I am beginning to like this

WHEEEEE!!!!!!!

Now to try this slide business!

I think I like this thing too!

Now that I've destroyed my first outfit by 9am, it's time to play on the porch with my ball and then help mom and dad plant flowers!

What a fun weekend spent with my mom, dad, Grandma Janet, and Grandpa Howie!
We all even went out for coffee together. Grandma and I had some great coffee talk while Grandpa drank his hot chocolate!

A big weekend can make a girl really tired!

My foot needed some freedom.

Then off for another adventure the next weekend in Iowa. We got to go out to lunch with Great-Grandparents Howie and JoAnn. Once again an action shot of Mia with food in her mouth... a pretty common occurance.

What a fun group!

But down to business... Time to get all ready for the big wedding. Hannah was the first to get ready and was looking adorable!

Grandma and Mia were close behind, but Mia was not as good as Hannah at keeping her bow on her head... but once again, things always end up in the mouth!

It was a beautiful ceremony and then we were off to the reception. Mia found her cousin Quinn there and man was Quinn ready to party, or at least toast with her pear juice.
What a great group of family... and you can tell we are related as nobody seems to find the need to focus on the fact that we are taking a picture... too much to talk about!

Did I mention that there were a few cameras!
What a fun bunch of cousins!

We were even able to make it until 9:45pm with the little ones at the reception. Finally, it was just too late and it was back to the hotel. Don't worry, we were still up at 6am so that Mia had time to go to the pool... guess who woke us up at that time :)

(something in the mouth)

Luckily, she also spends plenty of time with her mouth free of objects, but busy talking and expressing her opinion on things.

I just really like this one!
