Mia's First IceCream

Mia's first experience with Icecream = AWESOME!!!!!!!

Winter and Summer Homes

Well, we have the internet now. Still slowly moving into our new house. We are all moved in... and by that I mean we have everything at the new place in piles and boxes. We are slowly getting settled. After the house selling fiasco, we are happy to just be sleeping in a bed. For those of you who want to appreciate your sleeping arrangements, try an airmatress for 3 weeks (but make sure there is a hole in it for the last week so you can get up every night at 2 to reinflate it :)) In the meantime, I believe that it is time for a little photo catch up for the past internet-free month!
At the beginning of Mia has decided that she is going to start sitting... "Whoa MOM!!!"
This is one of the few airplane rides where there isn't a string of drool that either hits me or the floor :) Gotta love teething!
What are these things and what am I supposed to with them?...
MMM... Tasty!

Mia is getting really good at "eating" - She loves when her dad feeds her... this is the old set up.. 2 card table chairs and a table with a booster chair. Yet another reason I love our new house!

Just practicing for halloween. This is Mia's Daycare outfit (as she is sure to be changed out of it before the end of the day and her halloween costume would be way too warm).

What is this... I know that she can't eat these yet but they are still great and exciting none-the-less!

First attempt at eating...

Ok, so after her first attempt at eating solid food we have assessed there is room for improvement. Our initial thought was that we would first try solid food when we had moved into our new house, but due to lack of new house we gave in. So we set up a "dining room" which consists of 2 TV trays, 2 lawn chairs, and a stroller for Mia. We propped her up and made a delicious looking bowl of rice cereal. We declared success in that she did not throw up and that some of it may have gotten in her mouth. Of course we got it on video, but here is a photo of the results...
It turns out that Mia's reaction was more a concerned look than a "yea for food," but being a member of our family we know that she will get there!
