Stay-Cation

After a very long week of not closing on our house... it was time for a vacation without going anywhere (thus, a stay-cation). Thank you Grandpa Howie and Grandma Janet for getting us a hotel room. Nothing like a day off filled with swimming and lounging! The next day we got up early for a good, free breakfast and did a little shopping, went to hermantown harvest-fest (we like our fests!), spent some of the afternoon getting our house in order, took a nap, and so-much-more! What a great weekend... now off to watch the Vikes with some friends!

Duluth-Fests

What a beautiful, chilly fall day for the duluth fall festival. Perfect time to pick up a new hat for Mia! We got to have a lot of fun with family and friends! Then later that night we took Mia and Dave and Carolyn Linde to their first rap concert at HillFest! It was a action-packed day! Even so, up early the next morning for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Linde at Perkins...

Playing at Hogwarts

Mia wanted to meet up with Ella to play at Hogwarts... and a few other friends showed up. Only in Duluth is it completely common to see deer, well, just about everywhere!

Mia had a ton of fun. Play hard and sleep hard!

Survivor Kitchen has forced us to eat out :)

Since we will be moving in a little under 2 weeks, we have been playing survivor kitchen (only buying perishables and random items to finish dishes). Luckily, there are so many fun places to eat and friends to eat with!!!

Family Date Night

Dan, Mia, and I walked to dinner on one of the hottest day of the year... no way we were turning on the oven for the lasagna we had in the fridge!
